Date: Friday 14th April

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Venue: Budapest Sports Arena

Bellator continue to makes waves in both the MMA and Kickboxing world, putting on stacked events. With legends, veterans, future stars as well as two championship fights, Bellator 177 is no different. Focusing on MMA, we take a statistical look at the main card.

Eduardo Dantas is out to defend his Bellator bantamweight title against Leandro Higo, bantamweight champion of the Legacy Fighting Alliance promotion. Replacing Darrion Caldwell who suffered an injury, Higo has seized the opportunity to not only fight for a leading promotion but for a championship title against one of Bellator’s pound-for-pound best fighters. Higo is certainly Bellator calibre and is worthy of fighting among the best fighters in the division, but his fellow Brazilian will be his toughest test to date. See below for a statistical breakdown of the fight along with the rest of the MMA card:

Dantas v Higo
Weichel v Teixeira
Borics v Taylor
LO v HH
