Bellator 170 - Chael Sonnen vs Tito Ortiz

The much anticipated Bellator 170 will take place on 21st January in Inglewood, California. The card promises fireworks with scintillating match-ups building up the card before the crowning main event, which sees the return of the American Gangster, Chael Sonnen take on the legendary Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz.

Having two of the biggest draws Bellator has at their disposal fighting each other is a real treat for fans, and fitting for what is most likely Ortiz’ final fight of an illustrious career. These two fan favourites are pioneers of the MMA world, using their charisma and wit to build up a fight and draw substantial attention to an event. Some call it promotion, some call it trash talking - either way it has paved the way for modern fighters looking to make a name for themselves utilising the amount of coverage MMA is now receiving.

This fight is complimented by an absolute slobber-knocker of a co-main in the form of veteran Paul Daley and Brennan Ward. The Englishman Daley loves nothing more than dispatching his opponents with his siege gun of a left hand and will hope Ward decides to stand with him creating a magnificent slugfest.
