With the UFC becoming ever more popular, interest from the lucrative sports betting industry is on the increase. However, with the volatile and unpredictable nature of the sport, is it worth the gamble? I have simulated what, if any, money could have been made from betting on the outcome of title fights.

Looking at every fight that took place outside of USA in UFC history, I investigate if there is any truth in fighters benefiting from home advantage, whilst also considering those bouts that went to a decision - do judges tend to side with fighters from their own country?

I outline my reasons why UFC belts are changing hands so frequently in the modern era.
